When can I apply?

Application dates will be dependent on your location.Opening and closing dates will be posted ‘here’. You may only select one location with your preferred dates.

How to apply?

Under the “how” tab on our website is a host of useful features, including specific instructions on how to submit application. In order to complete the application process, you will be required to share some business details, product imagery and any additional documentation to support your application (I.E product safety ratings). All this information will then need to be sent to contact@markedlane.com

Do I need to apply each time?

Yes. You will need to submit a new application for each Marked Lane venue you wish to attend. For those vendors attending multiple venues, your details will be saved to streamline the application process.

When will I get my application result?

Every application is reviewed with time and care. We endeavour to respond to all applicants two weeks after the application cut-off date. All applicants will be notified by email. If you have not received a response from us within 7 business days, please get in contact with us at contact@markedlane.com.

Who can apply for Marked Lane?

Anyone over the age of 18 can apply for Marked Lane

I was part of Marked Lane before. Can I apply again?

We would love that! Please note however, that participation in previous Marked Lanes does not guarantee selection as we endeavour a complimentary suite of brands at each location.

I want to apply for all of the Marked Lanes. What are my chances of getting into all of them?

Many stallholders apply for multiple locations we appear at and we encourage you to apply for all of the events you wish to participate in. Each Marked Lane is treated with independent of the retail cycle and applications assessed to fit those time frames.

Can I change my application once it's submitted?

Unfortunately, once your application has been submitted, no alterations can be made. If you would like to update an application, please re-submit your entire application and advise us via email that you would like us to cancel your previous application.

I got in! What next?

If your application is successful, we will send out a welcome package that includes all event information. We will also require additional information from each vendor in regard to appropriate payment options.

One of the images from your application will be chosen to announce your involvement in Marked Lane through our media channels.

What if I have to cancel my application?

If you need to cancel your application, please inform us via email.

Once offers have been made and a successful applicant wishes to cancel, cancellation fees will apply.

If successful applicants do not respond within 7 business days, the offer will be rescinded and offered to another vendor.

To secure your position within Marked Lane, a 25% deposit must be made upfront. This deposit will be refunded after the 4 weeks-event has finished.

Any cancellations made 6 weeks prior to commencement of Marked lane will incur a 50% forfeiture of total fees applicable for Marked Lane stallholders. If payment has not been made at this time, stallholders are still liable to pay 50% of total costs.

How much is a booth? What is included in that fee?

Prices of the booth vary depending on the event location. Before you submit an application, please get in contact for exact prices and booth sizes of your preferred location.

The rent of a booth will be charged weekly over a period of 4 weeks.

Marked Lane have extensive advertising, marketing, media, public relations and social media campaigns running all year to a huge following reaching thousands of people around the country. All of our stallholders have equal opportunities to be featured amongst these campaigns. In addition, Centres will promote your brand as part of Marked Lane.

Will my booth come with furniture?

Yes, we provide you with a full set up where you can display your products, create a point-of-sale situation and interact with booth shoppers and other brands of the event.

Do I need Public Liability Insurance?

It is not compulsory, although we highly recommend having these facilities for keen shoppers. However, ATM services are within every Shopping Centre and easy to access for shoppers.

Can I choose my stall position?

Floor plans are created by the Marked Lane team based on several criteria. These include, but are not limited to, the size of the stall, the category of products and specific requests within your applications.

LOGISTICS

Can I trade for one day only?

No. Stallholders MUST trade for all hours across all opening days, and be available for all the trading times as stated.

I am applying from interstate; can I courier my stock to the venue?

No. Unfortunately our destinations are not in a position to accept any deliveries destined for stallholders. Centres cannot take responsibility for your deliveries, and cannot sign for it on your behalf.

Is there Wi-Fi access?

Wi-Fi is not provided from Marked Lane, however most of the Shopping Centre offer free internet. To be on the safe side, strongly suggest you bring along your own connectivity solution, which you’ve tested beforehand.
